Duran Brew is coffee inspired by the famous band Duran Duran. Duran Duran became one of the most successful bands of the 1980s. They originated from Birmingham, England. Since the 1980s, Duran Duran has scored 14 singles in the Top 10 of the UK Singles Chart and 21 in the Billboard Hot 100. They have a total sales stand of over 100 million.

Years Present: 1978-present 

My goal was to express the tone of Duran Duran which is energetic, influential, electrifying 

I wanted to base Duran Brew on their most famous album called "Rio". Each coffee flavor is based on one of their hit songs from that specific album. I also used specific colors from the Rio album on the packaging. 

Flavor 1: Hungry Like A Caramel Macchiato

Flavor 2: Electric Espresso 

Flavor 3: Rio Roast

These were the sketches I worked on while creating this packaging design. I wanted the package to be bold but yet have some simplicity in it because my main target audience was millennials since Duran Duran first gained their popularity in the 1980s. The lightning bolt in each packaging design represents Duran Duran's electrifying music and melodies and the skyline of England represents where the band originated from.
